This is a regular gig for me and have performed there multiple times since it was opened. $350 / 4 sets PA supplied by myself Bit quiet based on previous gigs, however, it was the first week of Fringe. Gig 2: Private function, 50th Birthday Private Residence Saturday 6th Feb Booked directly with the client, who saw me perform at a previous pub gig and enquired as to whether I do private functions. $400 / 4 sets PA and lighting and set break dance music supplied by myself Superb gig. Around 80 guests who sang and danced all night. Had a few guests who asked to get up and sing songs, which was no issue. Carry extra mics for private parties as this is a regular service I cater to at such events. Already knew one song and the other I quickly learnt in the set break. Private party package also includes prepping song requests from the client, prior to the gig, MCing the event if required, set up and sound check done prior to guests arriving, and dance music played through my PA till the party ends. Client was super stoked with the party and everyone had a great time. Gig 3: Robe Hotel beer garden Australia Day weekend PA and lighting supplied by myself. Friday night solo acoustic, $300 for the night (plus accomodation meals and drinks), charged as a package deal to perform with a 3 piece on the Sunday night ($800 plus accomodation, meals and drinks) and coupled with fronting a wedding band in Mount Gambier on the Saturday night to increase revenue against logistics costs. The wedding was at The Barn, booked first, directly with the wedding party, and after the gig was locked in I approached the venue directly and negotiated the Friday and Sunday gigs. The trio on the Sunday night was part of the band that performed at the wedding the night before. Took a lot of organising but the whole weekend was a success. Both the Friday and Sunday nights were busy by venue standards. Crowd retention was pleasing and 2 private function leads generated at the gig from patron enquiries are now confirmed gigs. Crowd loved our use of wireless guitar rigs and mics, allowing us to get in and dance with the crowd off stage while performing. Always. Crowd interaction and requests are a priority. Every guest is made to feel like they matter and I always have time for everyone that wishes to chat to me. If i get asked for a song and I know it (and it fits the theme of the gig) I'll play it. I have a huge playlist (cater to all ages) and cater the playlist to the crowd. If performing at a venue for the first time, I'll attend the venue a week before to assess the crowd and determine a set list that will go down the best. I have an approachable and super chatty personality that's all smiles, and i make this part of my act. If performing in a venue, I'm professional and regularly check in with management to make sure levels etc are ok 100% reliable, never dropped a gig. Ever
